Rebroff CDs on www.jazzinterpreten.de (Good way to sample lots of tracks)  Their excerpts are very poorly chosen in my opinion.  The best ones are:

• "Barinja on the "Die Krönung einer großen Karriere".  In general, avoid this CD.  He recorded this when he was 60-something, and his voice is not what it was. 
• "Abendglocken on  "Zauber einer großen Stimme".
• The last track on "Seine größten Opernerfolge".. It's "Vous Qui Faites L'endormie". Neat track, don't know if you can tell with the low-bit-rate excerpt.
• "Mutterchen Russland" on "Perestroika Glasnost".
• First track on "Ich bete an die Macht der Liebe".  This is a vocal version of Albinoni's "Adagio". One of my favorites no matter who does it.
