Mission Bay Beach on Mariners Cove; cleanest water in Mission Bay because it's right by the jetty. Lots of room! This picture was taken at 1:30 pm on a very hot Sunday afternoon in August. (17kb).

South Mission Beach, ocean side. Foreground shows "boardwalk" for walking, biking, and skating. It goes along the ocean front through Pacific Beach, almost to La Jolla. It also goes almost all the way around the perimeter of Mission Bay. Because the public parking is several blocks away, this part of the ocean beach is not very crowded.
