Cancellation & Refund Policy

Canceling a reservation causes costs to the landlord, and the prospective tenant must compensate the landlord for these costs. Here are the different situations and costs:

  1. Reservation canceled within 10 days of being made: Your deposit is refunded minus $50 for having to update the web site twice.
  2. Reservation canceled more than 10 days after being made but before two months prior to rental start: Your deposit is forfeited as compensation for the week having been blocked from prospective renters and for having to update the web site twice.
  3. Reservation canceled within two months of the rental start: Your payment is forfeited unless a new renter can be found. If a new renter is found, your payment minus 20% will be refunded.
  4. Stay interrupted: If you voluntarily leave early or are evicted for unacceptably rowdy behavior, you will receive no refund because no tenant can be found and properly qualified on such short notice.

By making your deposit or by signing the rental agreement, you agree to the above terms.
