Morrison Hotel / Hard Rock Cafe

Here are some cool pics of the Morrison Hotel and the former Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Los Angeles. Henry Diltz photographed the Doors at these locations. These photos were used on the covers of the Morrison Hotel album.

Both buildings still stand today, but may be threatened by redevelopment or a proposed new football stadium. The original Hard Rock Cafe -- established long before the current chain -- is long gone. The building has been remodeled over the years.
