Primary Responsibilities

   Development and presentation of training materials to support safe, effective and efficient pest control and cleaning/sanitation programs in all Nestlé USA facilities and Co-Manufacturers when requested.

    Work with Nestlé USA Food Safety group to develop training programs and implement environmental sampling plans, in compliance with Nestec and Nestlé USA requirements, to control pathogens such as Listeria and Salmonella, along with indicator microbial populations in the plants.

    Provide on-going education and training to Nestlé USA Plant Hygienists on issues relating to food safety, environmental microbiological monitoring and data analysis.

    Provide analysis of cleaning and sanitation programs within and across divisions to insure that least cost, most efficient systems are utilized.

    Support Food Safety compliance through on-going training, audits and coaching of the Plant Hygienists.

    Provide direction, training and assistance to the Plant Hygienists to control cleaning and sanitation effluent/ waste to the minimum needed to properly clean the facility.

    Provide guidance and leadership on the sanitary design of facilities, equipment, equipment installation and plant layout. This responsibility included assisting in identification of capital needs for modification or replacement of existing equipment or structures.
