Bob and Leslie Tutelman
Bob is a retired Mechanical Engineer and Leslie is a retired Computer Programmer. Our hobbies include travel, scuba diving, sailing, roller blading, body boarding, and bicycling. We love to travel and take several vacations a year. We have exchanged houses in Paris, Geneva, Key Largo, Amsterdam, Washington, DC, London, St. Augustine, Stockholm, Boston, and Vancouver.
We live in a very quiet, well-kept neighborhood. The beaches and tourist attractions are 15 to 30 minutes away by car. Miramar Lake is a small recreation area only 1-1/2 miles away and offers boating, fishing, and a 5 mile paved path around the lake that is wonderful for walking, biking, and roller blading. Other things to do in San Diego include the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, golfing, deep sea fishing, the Aerospace museum, IMAX films in the Rueben H. Fleet science museum, sailing, casinos, surfing, body boarding, hot air balloon rides, biplane rides, and glider rides. Disneyland and Los Angeles are 2 1/2 hours away.
Our home in San Diego is a 3 bedroom/2 bath house 10 miles inland from the ocean. It has a fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and all of the usual appliances. We have a king-size waterbed in the master bedroom and a double-size futon bed in one of the bedrooms. The third bedroom is used as an office, but we have an airbed that could go in there. The climate is usually very mild, but we do have central air conditioning and usually use it a few times during July and August. We have a large screen TV and a VCR/DVD if you like to watch movies. We also offer the use of one of our cars. We have a 2004 Acura RSX with a manual transmission and a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid 4 door with an automatic transmission.
During the past year we have traveled to the Amalfi Coast, Paris, Belgium, Maui, Lake Tahoe, Vancouver, Fiji, Cabo San Lucas, the Kona coast of Hawaii, San Francisco, Key Largo, and Croatia. We would like to arrange an exchange for May or June 2009 in Europe. In the US, we would like to exchange in Hawaii, Oregon, and the Florida Keys. Our email address is rtutelman@san.rr.com.
