We live in the most beautifully landscaped community in Dan Diego. Currently our property tax assessment for the landscape roadways, clean streets and pocket parks is $127.34 per house and $89.14 per condo per year. As we, the community, will be assuming responsibility for the up-keep of more of these assets from the developer, we must draft a new budget to cover the added costs. You Maintenance Assessment District (M.A.D.) has recommended a budget assessment of $230 per house and $161 per condo for 2003, then to increase by 5% per year after that. You will be asked to vote on this issue in the near future.
