Jennifer Goff

I was born and raised in San Diego but fled to the East Coast for college. I attended New York University for a year and a half and then decided I needed to get away from the City and from school. A trip the summer after my freshman year was a large part of this decision: I traveled to Palau, Micronesia and learned how to SCUBA dive and fell in love with it. I also headed on over to Thailand where I traveled a bit and did more diving. Back at school, I wasn't as satisfied as I had been in a small hut with no electricity or toilet, overlooking the ocean, going diving every day and eating curry. So I left school, worked for a bit in SD, then took off for India and Nepal where I stayed for 5 months. After leaving Asia I went to Europe for a few months and then decided it was time to go back to school. So I returned to NYU and graduated with a BFA in Theatre this past May. My post graduate life has been a bit varied thus far, but has one throughline- I've always been near the water. I worked in the Carribean as a dive instructor over the summer, then at a hotel on an island in Maine, and then on a yacht named OZ for a couple of months. Now I'm back in SD and taking classes that I didn't get to take at NYU. I look forward to diving in the Carribean again and using the scientific names for the all creatures we swim around down there.

Alison Sanger

I moved to San Diego in May of 2000 from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Santa Fe is a high desert moutain town, with a great history and ski resort but no ocean. I have alot of family here in Cali, so I often visited in the summer as I was growing up. I fell in love with the ocean the first time I saw it. I have also been into environmental conservation since the 4th grade. I have never scuba dived but to learn and do is one of my main goals here. A limited budget is holding me back, so if anyone knows of a good deal hook it up! I have been snorkaling in Hawaii a few times.

Goals: I know I want to do something out in the field, not in a labratory. I am working toward a bachelors in Natural Science, and hope to start working as a research assistant somewhere incredible. I would rather advance my
carreer with on-the-job experience, rather than more school. I hope to get involved in some kind of anti-pollution, save the turtles, or reef Doctor type gig. I think I still have awhile to go in school, and being a working student it takes me longer to build up credits. I need to see a counselor to figure where I am, but I'd like to
transfer to a University by next Spring.

Hobbies: I go to the beach almost every day to run my dog or check out tidepools or just chill. Other than that I love to travel, be outside in any kind of beautiful place, party, and be with great people.

Tiffany Heard

My name is Tiffany Heard and I am 19 years old. I would describe myself as very outgoing, and always on the go doing something. I am probably best known for my long brown curly hair. This is my second semester at City college studying liberal arts.
I am originally from Oregon and I have an extensive agricultural background. Growing up I lived on a farm and was involved in the 4-H program, FFA, and softball.
I have been in San Diego since July of 2000. I would have to say San Diego is unique but I would never choose to live here.

My career goal To be a large animal veterinarian.

Hobbies: I enjoy helping people and working with animals.

My favorite quote: "If you can dream it you can achieve it" the runner up to that one is" Life's a dance learn as you go".

Jeanene Taylor

I'm a hairstylist, now of 8 yrs. I live in Bay Park, and have been in San Diego for 16 yrs. Wow, I'm gonna be 30 in April, forgot about that. Time
sure flies, doesn't it?

I am interested in Marine Biology, because i have a fascination with sharks.
I think they are incredible creatures, that we humans haven't the slightest idea of who, what, and how they are. I guess my decision to study Marine Biology started after snorkling in Hawaii, a year ago. The sea is beautiful. I plan to get certified to dive this summer, and see where it takes me.

Hobbies: I'm also an avid bowler, and I love to read, yes, anything to do with sharks, and Stephen King.

Eurydice Clayton

Career: I plan to pursue a career field in Biology or some related field, I'm currently completing a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I enjoy traveling, exercising, bike riding and meeting differerent people. I

My philosophy on life: "Live life to it's fullest and enjoy the good times that come my way".
