EXPERIENCEOver eight years' experience with horses that has included personally owning three horses - responsible for daily care, maintenance, training, exercise, nutrition, and medical treatment. I hand raised my own foal from birth to her current age of three years, and am now working her under saddle. Served in a voluntary capacity at my boarding facility working with the foals, mares, and yearlings helping with handling, maintenance, training, vet care, and farrier care. Have participated in colt-starting and horsemanship clinics including a four-day Ray Hunt colt-starting clinic, and study the methods of many trainers such as Mark Rashid, Buck Brannaman, and John Lyons. Riding experience includes english and western, as well as familiarity with equipment for both disciplines. Stay abreast of equestrian industry news and current events by subscribing to Equus, Horse & Rider, and Horse Illustrated, as well as online discussion groups such as the Natural Horseman list. Duties included care and maintenance of my own mare and her foal, which is now three years old. I have hand raised this foal and personally handled all of her training. She trailers, clips, cross ties, stands quietly for vet and hoof care, and is generally well mannered. Owning and raising horses has given me substantial experience in the areas of ongoing care, maintenance, exercise, training, and nutrition for horses. Challenging and demanding Senior Experience project working on four person consulting team for NASA's lead space flight exploration facility. Project entailed thorough investigation of the existing process for moving, adding, and changing telecommunications services. This was a highly technical project requiring extensive knowledge and skills in the areas of telecommunications, networking, and business process reengineering. Project also entailed inventory management issues, and culminated in the delivery of a 176-page report consisting of approximately 30 extensively developed recommendations. Served as project manager and team leader.
