Thursday Evening Social Paddles
Contact: Aqua Adventures, 619-523-9577,
When: Thursdays, 6:00 PM
Join us with your own kayak, or rent one of ours. A great way to unwind, socialize, exercise, practice stroke technique, train for trips or races, try out new kayaks, and just have fun! We'll add variety by paddling at different locations including San Diego Bay and La Jolla Shores as well as paddling from our shop on Mission Bay. Bring a flashlight and call ahead if you'll be renting one of our kayaks.

Humphreys Concert Schedule

Humphreys' Concert Season begins, continues to late October. Click on the picture, or here: http://www.humphreysconcerts.com for the schedule. Note: the map is for land travel, the idea is to kayak in and listen for free from the water!

Fleet Week, two weekends in early to mid-October annually, usually has a Parade of Ships in San Diego Harbor, and the Star of India sets sail in the bay. See The Big Bay link above.

November:

December:

San Diego BayHoliday Parade of Lights - Two consecutive Sundays in December, check fthe Union for dates, San Diego Harbor off the Embarcadero.

Mission Bay Christmas Boat Parade of Lights, another spectacular boat parade, offering the best viewing from Crown Point on the east side of Vacation Island or the west side of Fiesta Island. The parade ends with the lighting of the SeaWorld Sky Tower Tree of Lights. December, check for dates.

Kayak Polo

Where: Bahia Point, Mission Bay
Playing kayak polo is an excellent way to develop your overall boating skills. Its a lot of fun, too! No experience is required. We have games to accommodate all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Helmets and life vests required. Whitewater and sit-on-top kayaks are welcome.

Spanish Landing Paddle

Where: Spanish Landing, San Diego Bay
Meet at 8:00 AM for a leisurely paddle for coffee, bagels and good conversation to Coronado from Spanish Landing and back.
