The LILO distribution is here .

Need help with LILO?    E-mail me directly at:  "John Coffman" <johninsd at san dot rr dot com>         (pardon the "at" and "dot", but they are spam-preventatives)

Please send the following information:

1.  Version of LILO you are using:  "lilo -V".  Was this version compiled from the released source, or obtained from a distribution:  e.g., Debian, Mandrake, RedHat, SUSE, etc.  It is strongly suggested that you use the latest version before reporting an error.  Source and binary are available above.
2.  Copy of '/etc/lilo.conf' -- i.e., your configuration file.
3.  Partition information for each disk:  copy of '/etc/fstab', and output from "fdisk -l" (or "fdisk -l <dev>" for each disk).  Which partitions use Reiser Filesystem?
4.  Copy of '/etc/raidtab', if your are using RAID1.
5.  Output from "cat /proc/partitions >part.txt".
6.  Boot install log:  output from:  "lilo -w+ -v5  >log.txt  2>err.txt"; Note: 'err.txt' should be empty. Please zip or gzip the output file, as it is large.

NOTE to RedHat and Fedora users:  Do not tell me that you are using "version 21.4-4".  It is now 6 years OUT OF DATE.  First try the current release of LILO to see if your problem has been fixed.
