Download a zip file containing two parameter files for generating more than 2000 Misiurewicz point images using Fractint from my collection. You can view them using Fractint alone or in combination with Thore Berntsen's freeware Fractint Screen Saver. These 4 images were computed on a Pentium/200 using the neon.map color scheme. Colors were 'cycled' to a pleasing view. At Misiurewicz points, the filaments in the boundary of the Mandelbrot set exhibit either multiple branching or filament tips. The filaments connect the solid components of the Mandelbrot set.
