F.O.T.N. (Fractal of the Night) 9 May 1998 (Life Support)

Remember when you were a little baby in your mother's arms? Recall that warm secure feeling where you knew you were safe and happy? Too far back to reminisce? How about that cold morning this last winter when the alarm went off and you snugged down even deeper into the bed? Well, that is how Dr. J felt on the life support system when Dr. E started yelling at him. Tonight's picture is called Life Support, a life support bubble bath if you will.

Let's hope Dr. J does not forget the amazing research results he was exploring while in his Deep Thought state. At least he better not forget or he will have h*** to pay when Dr. E gets done with her next few paragraphs.

After all, if you have been impersonating one of those Turing machines you better have a better answer than '42' when you halt. I would expect something like a detailed report titled "A Complete Survey of the Mandelbrot Set" showing the most awsome (and at least 10 runner up) fractals ever seen. But knowing Dr. J, that might be too much to expect.

When you get locked in your comfort zone, there will always be someone or something there to kick you out.

Happy Mother's Day

The parameter and formula files for Fractint are included below. Copy them into a quickie.par file for quick loading into Fractint. For longer term use, copy the frm: block into a FotN.frm file. But this time leave off the 'frm:' part.  Then copy the rest (the par parts) into your FotN.par file.
