F.O.T.N. (Fractal of the Night) 19Apr 1998 (The Blond)

I have just gotten this stern notice from Dr. J. Is he ever mad, and/or worried. Well, here, you can read it for yourself...

To whom it may concern (and that means you, Jay Hill),

You have gone too far! Reporting on the scientific and 'public' adventures  I have here in FractoSpace is one thing, and I don't mind you posting my published wedding picture, BUT reporting in every detail our first 'argument' is...is...is...just is not right!  Then you bug my visit to the local watering hole where I have some innocent drinks of Fractola. Next you will be blasting my wifes pillow talk all over the net! I hereby politely (this time) request that you cease and desist from this invasion of my privacy!

End of message, but I'll be watching!

Dr. J

Well there you have it. And considering tonight's picture, I can understand the defensive maneuver we see here.  Well, this bit has got to be posted, whether Dr. J likes it or not. You see, after he talked to Mr. Spearman about the origins of Fractal Space, he saw a beautiful blond nearby and, well, he moved over toward her and asked "What do you think of the Origins of Fractal Space?"

Figure 1.  Dr. J speaks to the blond.

Well, she replied "Now that is a new pickup line and gave him a smack heard thoughout the roXXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX  Dr. J better be more careful!

The question is still out there, twisting in the breeze. Can you settle the argument for Dr. J? Are fractals forever? Was there a beginning? How does I.B.M. fit in?

Stay calm,
Jay

The parameter and formula files for Fractint are included below. Copy them into a quickie.par file for quick loading into Fractint. For longer term use, copy the frm: block into a FotN.frm file. But this time leave off the 'frm:' part.  Then copy the rest (the par parts) into your FotN.par file.

Bwaaahahahaaaaa! I've stopped the transmission. This shall not go out! You better not try to repost it!!! Bwaaahahahaaaaaaaaa!!!

PS. Dr. J may be able to stop email posts, lets see if ftp to my web page gets through.
