Starter Battery

This made sense to me -- it puts the switch, raw water seacock, and fuel filter all in the same location and keeps the wire lengths short. I rotated the switch 90 degrees, so that it ON when vertical and OFF when horizontal, just like the raw water seacock. (Sorry it's a little hard to read; just take my word for it.) I also ran some flexible conduit (the blue corrugated stuff in the picture) through the bilge space back to the main battery box to shield the 8 AWG wires that carry recharging current from the shore charger or alternator between the #1/2 and #4 battery banks.
