I own a 78 Orange Fiesta . I have 156,000 miles on mine. I must admit that they are amazing cars. I live in Johnstown, Pa. and even with the severe winters we've been experiencing the Fiesta has never let me down, not once!
I had to replace the clutch, pressure plate, and the throw-out bearing.
Replaced it myself. The clutch was starting to slip. The pressure plate
was worn. Now the body is starting to rust badly. Blame that on the
unibody construction.
I have been looking for another one. No luck! The bodies are in as bad as shape
as mine, or the body and the engine are just shot.
Can't believe I found this site. Normally a Fiesta search takes me to Europe where the Fiesta is still made and sold.
