DEATH: Marcella Scribner passed away early on January 11, 2002 at home after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Her husband of 47 years, Warren, and several of her daughters were with her. She was cremated in California and was flown to Maine to be buried in Van Buren next to the site where her father is buried and where her mother will be buried when her time comes. The reunion in Maine was attended by all nine of her children and many of their spouses and her grandchildren, all coming from California to celebrate her life and her Maine roots.
