"B"
is for "BIG," meaning in these cases a 1500x??? image in a 200K+ file,
a long load for the dial-up bound.
"S" is for "Standard,"
760x??? images that will fit on most monitors but are not as legible as the BIG
ones, even if you use the Opera browser to
zoom in on the text. They are what you will see if you click the thumbnail image,
except in "M."
"M" is for the Moderate-sized final
column of the cycle report.
This event was another "one-off"
promotion as Southern California's pioneer road racers (the "Fabulous
Fifties") sought dependable, re-usable venues in which to exercise their
vehicles and skills in a renascent sport.
