Jack and Virginia's Place

JACK AND VIRGINIA'S PLACE
(in San Diego)

Updated 13 April 2004 -- Sad News

My dearest companion and best friend Virginia passed away on 29 March 2004 after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. She was a wonderful wife and mother who will live forever in the hearts of everyone she touched. This site will remain unchanged in her memory.

Yep -- That's us!

On the left:  Our son Jack and Karla from Ogden, UT    On the right: Our neighborhood.

Jim (on the left) lives in Ventura, CA -- Virginia & the guys at Christmas 2001

Mark likes to climb things. Here he is (below) with his arms behind his head sunning himself on the Texas Flake, an outcropping of El Capitan (approximately 2000 feet up).  Richard decides not to harass Xena.

We now move on to the doggies, starting with Pogo -- and ending with Pepper.

And of course, we can't forget the birdies.

Cute? You say you want CUTE?

On the left is Sweetpea, AKA the Green Hornet (really a Greycheek Parakeet) who loves Jack and despises just about everyone else.

Archie, our adopted Senegal parrot, despises Jack and loves Virginia.

As if there were not enough animals in the zoo, Ginny crochets frogs and other creatures.   Here's a sample of her handiwork.

Well, thanks for hanging in there! -- That's the end of the photo gallery for this page
