The Evans School is an independent Kindergarten through Six coeducational day school dedicated to fostering the academic and character development of each child. Emphasized continually are our basic values: a strong sense of personal worth, a genuine concern for others, and a belief that God is a vital force in all our lives.
Our traditional learning environment enhances the development of the individual child. Small classes enable the teachers to tailor their instructions and form a bond with each student. While we encourage academic excellence, we strive for good citizenship and mutual respect among out students and staff.
Rita Bear founded Evans School in 1958. It was her hope and aim that each child would develop into a fine citizen, expressing the qualities of respect, loyalty, integrity, and consideration for the feeling of others.
