San Diego Fishing Spots List and Charts

Please note: these files were updated on September 5, 2001. The B&W version was updated and a color version was added

Two sets of fishing spot files are available here for download, one in monochrome and the other in color. To download, select the version you want and right-click on the link above the samples below, then select 'Save Link As' (Netscape) or 'Save Target As' (Internet Explorer) to transfer this file to your computer.

Inside each zip file is one pdf file  containing four pages for you to print: two pages of fishing spots with their lat/lon coordinates, and heading/distance info from Point Loma and from Mission Bay, and two pages of  charts.  Print the first and third pages, turn those over and print the second and fourth pages on the backs. Then take to Kinko's or elsewhere and have the two pages laminated ($2/page) to make a pair of very handy cards to use on your boat while fishing offshore. The charts cover the range offshore from Ensenada to Del Mar and out to the Tanner Bank.

You will need WinZip to decompress the downloaded files. You can get it at http://www.winzip.com. You can download the free demo version or purchase a registered copy there. Once you have WinZip on your computer and one of the zip files below, just double click on the zip file and WinZip will start, showing you the contents, a single pdf file.  You can save the pdf file by dragging it from the WinZip window to a folder. Of course, you will also need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the pdf files.
