Fishing Report

{short description of image}

We started trolling at 6am at 32:10, 117:25. Mostly we worked our way south and east looking for paddies, water temp increases, any sign of life. Finally a paddy was located, from which one lone dorado was taken:

From there, we worked our way back north and out pulling the jigs. We got one hookup, around 11 am, about 6 miles SE of the Hidden Bank. The Hidden Bank is at 32'02.5, 117'29, and so this strike was approximately at 31:59, 117:27, on a pink marlin jig. And wonder of wonders, it turned out to be a striped marlin(!)

We shot a movie while the marlin was bring brought to the boat and released (click on the picture to see the movie):

Last fish of the day was a smallish yellowtail from a paddy above the 425. A skinny day for fish at the dock, but the marlin made up for that.

Here's the track from my GPS, and you can download the Garmin .gdb file as well.
